JT Voice Interconnect Link Extension service is defined as a service where JT provides transmission capacity, in multiples of 2 Megabit/s, between two JT Interconnect Nodes. At one of these JT Interconnect Nodes, the Licensee is interconnected by means of Collocated Voice Interconnect Link/s, and JT provides one or more 2 Megabit/s exchange ports at the other JT Interconnect Node.

JT Voice Interconnect Link Extension service may be provided using any appropriate technology. JT Voice Interconnect Link Extension service shall be paid for by the Requesting Licensee. The boundary between the JT and Licensee network shall be the JT Digital Distribution Frame at the Node where the Licensee is collocated.
