Orange distributes school bags to orphan students

As part of Orange activities in supporting the local community and developing its different segments, CEO Orange Mobile Mrs. Majd Shweikeh deputized for Jordan Telecom Group CEO Mickael Ghossein in distributing school bags to needy students and orphans from the Islamic Charity Center.
Mrs. Shweikeh said: “What Orange is offering the Islamic Charity Center comes in line with the charity program Orange is executing in the holy month of Ramadan, which addresses a number of similar activities that target organizations with a compassionate approach. We underline our constant duty to interact with such organizations, specializing either in caring for the elderly, the physically challenged, as well as children and orphans, therefore contributing towards the creation of a healthy cohesion among the society and building a better future for such segments.”
“Orange is committed towards the society in supporting the technological, social, and economic development of the Kingdom. Today, Orange continues to foster activities in different areas similar to this initiative where we provide financial and moral support for the Return to Schools program, which has noble values and targets needy students and orphans,” she added.
For his part, Islamic Charity Society Head of Financial Resources Mr. Muaz Sharman valued this initiative and the substantial efforts of Orange. He said that Orange’s initiative comes as a true translation of the concept of a ‘supportive society’, which a number of people are pushing to establish through rallying all energies to alleviate the suffering of the needy and poor in Jordan.
Mr. Sharman presented the Society trophy to Mrs. Shweikeh in appreciation of Orange’s kind efforts to play an integral part in backing the needy segments of the society.
