In order to launch a joint card for VIP customers
Wanadoo signs trade cooperation agreement with Bank of Jordan and ValuePlus

Internet and data business unit Wanadoo, a member of the Jordan Telecom Group, has signed a trade cooperation agreement with Bank of Jordan and ValuePlus company to launch a joint credit card, which will be the first loyalty card for Wanadoo’s customers, combining credit services and discounts.

The joint agreement was signed by Mr. Sami Smeriat, Wanadoo CEO, Mr. Ziad Fatayer, Bank of Jordan Chief Executive of Financial Services Management for Individuals, and Mr. Nabil Finan, ValuePlus General Manger.  

According to Smeriat, the agreement is considered an added value to Wanadoo’s record in its attempt to upgrade the level of services offered for tis customers and providing the best for them as they will benefit from this joint card, which is a Visa credit card with a credit limit of JD3500, thus giving its holder the opportunity to pay for his/her purchased items whether the person is present in Jordan or abroad. Adding to that, the new card will give customers discounts on various shops, restaurants, services and commercial centers. 

Smeriat added that Wanadoo continuously works on providing its customers with the most up to date services, and by signing this agreement with Bank of Jordan, a leading bank in field of financial services, and ValuePlus company, Wandoo reinforces further high standards in the field of customer care.   

For his part, Mr. Fatayer said that this project is considered a starting point to the cooperation between Bank of Jordan and Wanadoo, which comes as a result to the bank’s strategy that aims at establishing outstanding strategic relationships in order to provide the latest products and services that meet the expectations and needs of different segments of  the society.

Mr. Fenan pointed out that ValuePlus card is accredited at banks and companies since 1994 as a loyalty service for customers. And by introducing this joint card with Bank of Jordan, ValuePlus will get the chance to promote the card among commercial companies giving their customers both credit limit and discounts. Furthermore, Wanadoo will be displaying special discounts on ADSL lines to the joint and regular cards through the ValuePlus network. 

It is worth mentioning that a representative from Bank of Jordan will be in charge of finalizing all the procedures related to issuing a Visa card for Wanadoo’s VIP customers, where they can afterwards use it without having to go to the bank to do all the regular procedures. This card will be given to Wanadoo’s customers under certain conditions.
