Orange sponsors Third Annual Advertising and Marketing Communications Conference
Orange, the leading commercial brand in the telecommunications sector, took part in sponsoring the Third Annual Advertising and Marketing Communications Conference, which is held under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Nasser Judeh, Official Spokesman for the Government, and organized by the International Advertising Association – Jordan Chapter (IAA Jordan).
The two-day conference, which takes place at Grand Hyatt-Amman Hotel, will host a number of top industry professionals and speakers from around the globe. It will also give participants the opportunity to know more about the latest trends, tools, and developments in the advertising and marketing communication industry.
A key note speaker, Mr. Philippe Vogeleer, Chief Strategy Officer and Secretary General, Jordan Telecom Group / Orange Jordan, will highlight the adoption of Jordan Telecom Group's services of the Orange brand name, which is the commercial brand of the world’s leading telecommunications service operator France Telecom Group (FTG). He will also talk about the media and advertising campaign that accompanied this move, reviewing the events and promotion of Orange during the introduction of the brand to the Jordanian public.
Mr. Vogeleer will highlight the spread of the brand in the Jordanian community as well as its contribution towards social responsibility through Jordan Telecom Group Foundation.
Orange also developed through Jordan Telecom Group Foundation a press and business center, designed to serve the conference by offering computers, printers, faxes and other types of communication services. The center is accessible to media members and the conference’s participants.
The conference adopts the slogan Box Basics as a call for industry professionals to ensure that the basics and essentials are all in place when moving Outside the Box, which was the conference's previous slogan. The conference stresses on the fact that efficiency is a smart combination of creativity and effectiveness. This is the understanding that Box Basics attempts to introduce to participants who, nowadays, look for artistic knowledge that works.
Orange’s continuous interest in sponsoring such forums comes as a result of the Group’s strategy to explore the changes that the Arab market witnesses especially in the area of branding, which is considered one of the new topics in the advertising and marketing communications’ world. It also comes in line with Orange’s efforts to improve the ICT sector through the advanced and integrated services it offers, emphasizing by that the Group’s commitment in contributing to the sustainable development of the Jordanian society.
