In a bid to further stress on its commitment toward providing value added services accompanied by competitive rates, to citizens, visitors and foreign workers living in Jordan, Jordan Telecom reduced the rates of outgoing calls to Srilanka by 16%.

The Srilanka call rate from Jordan Telecom is considered the most competitive rate in the Jordanian market today. When using Weinak Prepaid card through the fixed line the rate is 16 piasters per minute, and 19 piasters per minute through MobileCom network.

This will enable foreign workers to call their families in Srilanka, and at the same fulfill the requirements of families who have people from Srilanka working at their houses to make calls in affordable rates.

Jordan Telecom was the first operator to introduce the prepaid card concept to the Jordanian market, and introduced it in three different categories, Three Jordanian Dinars, Five Jordanian Dinars and Eight Jordanian Dinars, and recently has been available for Two Jordanian Dinars, and enables all users to make local, national, GSM and international calls,” said Eyas Qubaiya, Mass Market Manager “This move will enable visitors and foreigners to make international calls to their countries with their beloved ones and friends, in addition, the company has launched various offers for users that guarantee competitive rates with maximum call time, thus confirming its commitment toward providing high quality services to customers.”

Weinak Prepaid cards are considered one of the value added services which Jordan Telecom launched targeting various categories from the Jordanian community. Weinak cards enable users to make calls from any fixed line to any destination in the world, without taking into consideration the amount of the bill by the end of the month as it is deducted from the card, thus providing the opportunity for users to use any phone no matter is it a friends or neighbors phone without hesitation.

Weinak prepaid card is easy to use, the user calls the number (080099800) from any fixed line or (080099880) through MobileCom network, and automated answering system will ask the user to enter the number of the card, and the user can make a call to any destination.  Jordan Telecom has taken into consideration that Weinak Prepaid card has to be available to everyone in a fixed rate, as the rate of the card includes the sales tax.

Prepaid Weinak cards are available in Jordan Telecom points of sales located throughout the Kingdom in addition to Oryx Sales Centers, Ring Jordan and many other distributors which Jordan telecom has signed deal with, in order to distribute the cards and guarantee its availability to all citizens wherever they are

Jordan Telecom has concluded the expansion of Weinak Prepaid cards last month, in order to meet the high demand on the cards.
