Orange Jordan, a prominent participant at Aqaba's 1st Training & Recruitment Forum
Orange Jordan took part in sponsoring Aqaba's 1st Training and Recruitment Forum which was inaugurated by the Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZA) Eng. Hosni Abu Gheida, and held with the participation of around 65 companies working in various fields.
The two-day forum was organized in cooperation with the Local Community Development Directorate of ASEZA and the Skills Training and Employment Placement Program funded by the U.S Agency for International Development.
The Forum aimed to give young Jordanians the chance to learn about job opportunities, importance of training through conducting many lectures and sessions, as well as providing jobs for seekers through giving them the chance to meet directly with the companies and institutions working in the Jordanian and non Jordanian private sector, that are looking for qualified Jordanian youth.
At the end of the forum, a draw was carried out while mobile phones and many gifts were distributed by Orange Jordan.
Through this sponsorship, Orange highlights its contribution towards social responsibility and its role in activating its social activities which come to fulfill the national needs, providing the necessary support for the society’s institutions and their activities especially in the areas that help in decreasing the number of unemployed people and increasing the qualifications of the Jordanian youth, stressing by that the Group’s commitment towards achieving substantial development of the Jordanian community.
