Orange Jordan football team and Shabab Rasoun meet for a friendly game

In cooperation with the Jordan River Foundation (JRF), Orange Jordan organized a football game between Orange football team and Shabab Rasoun.

Ajloun governor Issa Khawaldeh, manager of JRF Community Empowerment Program Eng. Ghaleb Al Qudah, Head of Orange Corporate Social Responsibility Khuloud Totah, and a large number of the governate's youth leaders, attended the game.

This event came simultaneously with the World Youth Day and aimed at supporting Shabab Rasoun team which is formed and sponsored by JRF's Youth Initiatives Unit.

Early this year, Orange Jordan and Orange Foundation, France Telecom Group (FTG)'s corporate social responsibility arm contributed to support the revival of Rasoun, a remote village situated within Ajloun governate,  and fulfill the various necessities of its residents by supporting the education, health, and social reform activities, and providing capacity building and training to local residents.

As part of Orange's support of Rasoun integrated project, Orange has also sought to establish a cooperative society for Rasoun residents contributing to the village's social and economic development.

Through Orange and FTG sponsorship and financial support, The JRF is working on implementing further development projects in Rasoun based on the governte's priorities and needs. Within the coming year, a number of development programs will also be implemented in partnership with the private sector in al Qoura, al Qadisiya, al Tafilah, al Fuheis, and Aqaba.
