With the participation of Orange Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation honors its employees

(Amman, 20 July, 2008): Orange joined the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) in its ceremony held with the presence of her Excellency Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mrs. Suhair Al-Ali, to honor the Ministry’s distinguished employees who received “Employee of the Month”, and INJAZ awards.

The Ministry, which is the winner of the first place/Gold Award in the "Best Ministry" Category in the third cycle of the King Abdullah II Award for Government Performance and Transparency (KAAGPT) 2006-2007, pays great attention to its human resources and considers them as an integral part in achieving the goals and boosting productivity. Therefore, the Ministry works hard to constantly motivate the employees and to spread distinction culture among them.

The recipients of “Employee of the Month” and INJAZ awards were chosen according to specific standards with complete transparency, fairness and objectivity.

“Orange’s participation in this ceremony is to encourage and motivate prominent employees since we believe that such honoring helps to build up a new generation of youth who are influential industry players,” said Mrs. Majd Shweikeh, CEO of Orange Mobile.

The two given awards are designed to recognize the prominent employees in the different departments of the Ministry. They are awarded according to the principles and terms of the incentives’ bylaw which is implemented in the Ministry, where the head of each unit and department sends the nominations to the internal personnel affairs committee at the Ministry to study the nominations and select the winners.
