Orange Jordan Participates in the Information Technology, Adaptation and Innovation Camp

H.E. Dr.Hosni al Shayiab underscored Orange Jordan’s continued efforts in attracting the latest and advanced technologies into Jordan and to Jordanians, empowering the promising generation to develop and shape the future of the Jordanian community.

This was during the inauguration of the IT Innovation Camp which was held at al Sarih Youth Center, with the participation and support of the Jordan Telecom Group Foundation.

Dr. Shayiab expressed his delight at Orange Jordan’s support by providing the internet tent for the duration of the Camp. He also commended Orange Jordan's achievements and its innovative ideas directed towards spreading the IT and the internet culture among the Jordanian youth across the kingdom.

During the event, Dr. Shayiab also valued the partnership between Orange Jordan and the Supreme Council of Youth that contributed to implementing the Council’s strategy in the Information Communications Technology (ICT) sector.

For his part, Mr. Maher Obeidat, Chairman of al Sarih Youth Center expressed his delight at holding the camp at al Sarih, highlighting its pivotal contribution towards empowering the Information sector in Jordan, developing the Jordanian community, and the Jordanian youth in particular. He also pointed out that the Camp aimed at providing Jordanians with all means of technology through making the internet usage in the public domain.
He also stressed the continued efforts endeavored by the  JTG foundation and its interest on participating in the local activities.

In this regard, Eng Yousef Maddi, JTG Foundation Manager,  highlighted that Orange Jordan exerts its utmost efforts to provide the community segments with the best services and offers and contributes to steering the youth and younger generations to delve into the IT and internet worlds, assisting in building up IT and Internet awareness among them. He also underlined Orange Jordan's commitment towards enhancing the kingdom's sustainable development through participating in the developing and leading programs and initiatives in all sectors, particularly, the education sector. 

It is worth mentioning that the JTG Foundation was established as a further step to complement and fulfill Orange Jordan’s missions and responsibilities towards creating the basic structure of the IT and Internet in Jordan, placing it at the level of the developed countries worldwide. The Foundation is aimed at spreading the IT and internet culture to reach every nook and corner in the kingdom, including the city, the villages, and al Badia .The Foundation keeps abreast of technology developments within the rapidly evolving world, through the specialized tools and the successful plans it advances towards spreading the internet culture all over the kingdom.
