H.R.H princess Basma Bint Talal, Chairperson of the higher committee of the National Goodwill Campaign, highlighted Orange Jordan's great efforts in supporting the social community, particularly needy segments of society.
This was during a campaign visit to Azmi Mufti refugee camp and the Bani Kananah district in Irbid and comes as part of the campaign program which aims at providing medical care services, income generating projects, and educational assistance to needy families across the Kingdom.
Accompanied by Orange Home Vice President Mrs. Wassila Zitoune and a team from Orange Jordan, H.R.H distributed financial assistance, scholarships, and income –generating projects to underprivileged citizens in Irbid.
''We pride ourselves at Orange Jordan of this partnership that brings us with one of the pioneering programs that aims at providing different types of support for the local community. This campaign strives to achieve His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision in developing the community and creating equity in living standards'', Mrs. Zitoune said.
She pointed out that Orange was enlightened by His Majesty's vision and working hard to fulfill the needs of citizens across Jordan making it a role model to other countries in the region.
Orange Jordan has supported the Goodwill campaign for the fifth successive year by contributing to developmental projects, providing assistance to children with disabilities, offering services in medical fields as well as offering scholarships to assist students who are financially unable to continue their studies in government universities across the Kingdom.
Through supporting the Goodwill campaign, Orange Jordan pursues its mission towards social community and underlines its role which goes beyond providing telecommunications services to contribute and support the social and humanitarian activities of society. Orange Jordan's commitment towards contributing to the country's sustainable development is something the company has pledged to uphold.
