Orange employees elect their representatives in the Group's Provident Fund's Management Committee
As part of its ongoing efforts to involve employees’ representatives in decision –making, and in line with Orange's belief in the importance of keeping its employees informed on all matters that concern them, Orange employees elected last week three members out of six for the membership of the Group's provident fund's management committee.
19 candidates whose candidacy applications met all required conditions were nominated and ballot boxes were distributed in several places across the Kingdom enabling employees to exercise their voting right according to the business unit they represent.
The winners were announced last week as follows:
Ayman Fayyad Al- shamayleh /for the corporate services seat, Musatfa Moh'd Al-Makawi/for the Network and IT seat, Meizer Yousef Mohammad / for the Business Unit's seat.
The elections were held in a truly democratic atmosphere reflecting a mutual respect between candidates and electors. It was organized and headed by the elections committee which handled all the arrangements and the elections preparations. Also it was held in the presence of Mr. Aboud Al Jada,' Head of the General Union of Public Services and Liberal Professions.
Al Jada' expressed his delight at these elections which came in accordance with the agreement between the Labor Union and the Group to reconsider the number of members of the provident fund's management committee within the Group to become six members, three of which to be elected by the employees.
Mr. Mickael Ghossein , Chief Executive Officer of JTG took part in these elections where he visited the main polling place at JTG's building accompanied by Mr. Ammar Shaheen, Chief Human Resources Officer and Mr. Raslan Deiranieh, Chief Financial Officer.
Ghossein highlighted the elections processes which were conducted in line with the Orange's value of transparency and he thanked all employees who contributed and made these elections successful.
