CEO of JTG-Orange visits Aqaba to learn about the Region’s telecommunications needs


Mr. Mickael Ghossein, the Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Telecom Group- Orange accompanied by a delegation of the Group's directors and managers visited last week the ASEZA (Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority), with the aim of enhancing the continuous communication channel with the local community and  the Group employees. 

This came in continuation of the CEO’s field visits to the Jordanian governates, and in line with Orange Jordan’s continuous efforts to meet the demands of all its customers across the Kingdom.

In his visit, Ghossein met a number of economic, VIP and Business officials and visited the economic and tourist sites to enquire about the current and needed telecommunications services required to fulfill the communications demands of the region. 

During the visit, Ghossein was accompanied by Mr. Shadi al- Majali, General Manager of Saraya Aqaba, on a special tour of Saraya projects, where Ghossein stressed Orange Jordan's commitment towards supporting the projects of Saraya Aqaba by offering needed services and the necessary infrastructure required to fulfill the future and potential needs of the projects.

Similarly, the delegation visited and met a number of economic and VIP officials and seized  the opportunity to talk about Aqaba and  the development of joint projects to provide that important region with the best services and in accordance with its distinctive nature, thus, enhancing  the region's economic future.  

During the visit, Ghossein and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the level of Orange Jordan's services provided at Orange sales center in Aqaba, one of the most important centers which serve Orange customers with the best distinguished telecommunications services in the Aqaba region. 

Ghossein also underlined the great efforts endeavored by Orange employees  who are well qualified and always ready to help the  customers to acquire all that they need from Orange services: fixed, mobile, internet and content,  demonstrating  that these services are offered at a one stop shop to better serve customers and provide flexibility, efficiency, and comfort. 

During the visit, Ghossein also got the chance to visit and meet Orange employees during their working hours and was keen on listening to their needs, requirements, and suggestions and learning the difficulties and challenges they face on job. He also provided prompt solutions resolving a large number of these problems, pointing out that the direct communication between managers and staff members is of high importance and must be applied, especially in the regions outside Amman.

At the end of the visit, Ghossein invited the economic and VIP officials to a gala dinner at Romero restaurant-Aqaba, where they discussed different topics concerning the important role that Orange Jordan plays in supporting and sponsoring many cultural, social, sport, and humanitarian projects, programs and activities, contributing to the Country's sustainable development in general, and Aqaba's progress in particular.
