Jordan Telecom Group (JTG), the kingdom's sole integrated telecom operator, and Itisaluna-Iraq, the latest national wireless fixed voice and data Telecommunications Company in Iraq have signed a partnership agreement, marking the commencing of the direct telephone-traffic-flow between Jordan and Iraq.
The agreement was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of JTG Mr. Mickael Ghossein, and Director General of Itisaluna Mr. Slueiman al Ma'ani, in the presence of the Director of International Carriers Sales and Services Eng. Omar al Rashdan, who is also acting as the General Manager of JTG Wholesale Business Unit, the Arab Region Manager Mr. Raed al Smadi, and the Director of Itisaluna operations Dept. Mr. Mohammad Quoud.
Mr. Ghossein expressed his delight at signing the partnership agreement pointing out that this step further highlights the Group's success by extending its scope to Iraq.
''We, at Jordan Telecom Group, have dedicated ourselves to prominently contribute to serving the Iraqi people and offering a suitable living environment full of prosperity and development''. Ghossein commented.
He also underlined that this partnership is the first step to achieve further cooperation with Itisaluna, stressing the Group's commitment to provide the latest telecom technologies enabling the Iraqi people to stay in touch with their families and friends anywhere around the world.
For his part, Mr. Ma'ani stated that '' we are very proud to sign this agreement with JTG, the sole integrated operator in Jordan, which enjoys an outstanding record supported by the wide experience of its dedicated staff''.
