Through this project, Orange works to improve the schools' environment and facilities as both have a direct impact on the educational and learning process. Additionally, it aims at benefiting from the experiences and skills of the employees participating in the project to strengthen the students' individual and leadership skills as well as enhance their economic concepts through different training courses, improving by that their efficiencies as well as their social and economic skills.
Mr. Mickael Ghossein, Jordan Telecom Group (JTG)/Orange CEO, stressed on Orange's continuous commitment towards Jordan and its people through the Group's effective contribution to the technological, economic and social development of the country, demonstrating that the Group's implementation plan comes as part of its many community initiatives that give students and their parents the right sort of attention through the development of the educational process while linking academic learning with practical application.
''Orange is always aware of its social responsibility towards Jordan and the important role it plays in the development of the educational process, which will reflect positively on raising a new generation that demonstrates responsibility towards the country's social, economic and technological progress,'' Ghossein added.
The adopted schools are divided into seven different areas throughout the Kingdom as follows:
Ramlah Bint Abi Sufian Secondary School –female /Zarqa, Ammar Bin Yaser Secondary School –male /Irbid, Zaid Bin Haritha Secondary School –male/Madaba, Asma'a Bint Abi Bakr Secondary School – female/ Wadi Musa, Nusseibeh Almaznieh Secondary School –female/ Ma'an, Altafilah Mixed Primary School –female/Altafilah, King Nasser Elementary School –male/Ajloun. This distribution comes in attempt to spread the benefit and reach areas far from Amman whose people are in dire need.
