Orange Jordan and the Capital’s Youth Directorate inaugurate Al-Jizah Youth Center

In light of the constant development the Kingdom is witnessing in the field of data, Internet and mobile services, Mr. Awad Al-Taweel  demonstrated the integrated and developed fixed, mobile and Internet services offered to the society and the Jordanian market by Orange.

This took place during Orange Jordan’s participation with the Capital’s Youth Directorate in inaugurating Al-Jizah Youth Center, one of the Directorate’s new centers in the Kingdom.  Dr. Rashad Al-Zoubi, General Manager of the Capital’s Youth Directorate, patronized the event that included a cultural, artistic and poetry program.

Mr. Taweel highlighted the series of changes Jordan Telecom Group’s companies have passed through since becoming the only integrated operator in Jordan beginning of 2006 till it adopted the new commercial brand, Orange, which is owned by France Telecom Group.  He also pointed out the importance of this new brand, which is spread in more than 220 countries around the world, for the Group locally and regionally.

The event, which was attended by a number of the region’s officials and VIPs from the local community, was concluded by distributing brochures and gifts among the attendees, who were also given the chance to surf the internet through Orange Foundation Internet Bus.
