Organized by INTAJ and the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology, the International ICT Forum opens today under Royal patronage.  The Forum convenes under the title "The Future in Your Hands" with the support and sponsorship of Jordan Telecom Group.  The Forum continues for two days with the participation of regional and international delegations.

Jordan Telecom Group CEO Mickael Ghossein said by hosting the forum, Jordan asserts itself on the world map as a meeting place for ICT professionals from across the world.  "His Majesty the King's continued attention to the ICT sector has resulted in attracting large investments to Jordan, a country which has worked effectively to upgrade the sector and create enormous work opportunities for Jordanians in the local market and in countries of the region.

Ghossein said Jordan Telecom Group's participation in the Forum takes particular significance as a reflection of its commitment to supporting major ICT events in collaboration with its strategic partner, France Telecom, which has also pledged to help make Jordan an ICT hub for the region.

Ghossein said the Group will present to the Forum its new integrated approach to providing communication services, and its implementation strategies, which will have a great impact on both the market and the Group itself.

He said the Group will also outline its achievements in the sector and its current status as provider of the highest quality services and packages at affordable prices, thanks to a highly qualified and dedicated team of Jordanian and French professionals and experts.  As a participating company in the Forum, Jordan Telecom will also seek economic opportunities and delve into new potential markets as part of its regional expansion plan.

The Fourth ICT Forum is a specialized meeting for the ICT sector.  It will host a number of sessions with the participation of regional and international experts who will discuss ways of enhancing the role of information technology in social development.  Jordan Telecom takes part in the Forum to affirm its effective role in the sector on both the local and regional levels
