Dr. Shabib Farah Ammari (Chairman)

Dr. Shabib Ammari is Chairman of the board of directors. He has held this position since January 2000, representing originally the Government of Jordan. Dr. Ammari was re-elected as the Chairman of the board of Jordan Telecom Group in June 2006, representing France Telecom Group.
Dr. Ammari is also the General Manager of Al-Daman for Investments (plc.) and represents the private sector in the board of directors of Electricity Distribution Co. He is also a Board Member of Arab Jordan Investment Bank and a Board Member of Al-Sharq for Investment Projects (plc.) He is also on the board of trustees at Princess Sumaya University for Technology. Dr. Ammari holds a PhD Degree in Economics (1980) from the University of Southern California (USA), where he was a senior lecturer until 1985.
